Job opening for the position of “Vendor Development Manager ”
Location : Chakan, Pune
Job Objective : Cost Reduction
Requirement : 8 to 10 years of experience in Purchase Dept. of Paint Industry.
Qualification – MBA/BBA/Post graduate/Diploma in Material Management
General fluency in English and computer literacy.
Essential Job Duties:
Cost Reduction through alternate raw material or alternate supplier or negotiation.
In coordination with R&D create database of alternates of every RM and every supplier.
Reduce lead time by identifying local sources.
Analyze Market trend and decide for bulk purchases.
Track, measure and analyze purchase plan vs actual.
Good knowledge of pigments, resins, additives etc.
Having decision making , negotiation and leadership skills.
Good knowledge of Import and Export.
Knowledge of GST & its slabs.
Proper knowledge of SQA (Supplier quality audit) & supplier rating.
Regular guidance and trainings to Team.
