Job Description

Job Role: Area Sales Manager
We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Area Sales Manager to generate quality leads. You should also be able to conduct research on market trends and competitors’ products. To be successful as Area Sales Manager, you should be persuasive and committed to achieving sales goals. A top-performing Area Sales Manager should be able to demonstrate strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills at all times.
Ultimately, you’ll help us meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company’s rapid and sustainable growth.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Retain/acquire new accounts/clients in the specified region/ market.
• Manage the entire sales process effectively from query generation to payment. Review & maintain monthly sales tracker, plan and execute market site visits as agreed with region.
• Create new products by interacting with Marketing and Demand teams tailor made to client requirements.
• Collect data on competitor’s activities.
• Should be able to understand client requirements and tailor pitch the product accordingly.
• Share regular feedback on market conditions, competition, pricing and other factors influencing sales.
• Interact regularly with the clients to ensure a committed and partnership-based relationship.
• Handling concerns & support for hostels & pg. Ambassadors / Agents & influencer’s on boarding (Hunting).
• Hand Holding for on-boarding, focused in business development across multiple cities.
• Comfortable for relocations.

Requirements:
• Degree in marketing, business administration, or similar.
• Extensive sales experience.
• Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behaviour.
• Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
• Professional yet affable disposition.
• Neat, well-groomed appearance.
• Great networking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Resourceful, with outstanding research skills.
